You will be responsible for operating material handling equipment, receiving and stocking goods, and preparing materials for shipment. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety are paramount. As a Material Handler, you will work closely with other team members and supervisors to maintain optimal workflow and contribute to our overall logistics success. We require all employees to adhere strictly to safety guidelines, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and employ proper Lifting techniques. This position involves physical activity and requires an individual who is reliable, energetic, and works well in a team-oriented environment. We are looking for someone dedicated to maintaining a clean and safe workspace, contributing to the smooth operation of our distribution center.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move materials.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Stock materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders as required.
- Conduct regular checks on material handling equipment and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing PPE.
- Utilize proper Lifting techniques to prevent injuries.
- Assist with inventory counts and record keeping.
- Support the overall logistics and supply chain functions of the warehouse.
