We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Fulfillment Associates to join our busy distribution center in Columbus, Ohio. This role is crucial for ensuring that our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for various tasks within the fulfillment process, including picking products from storage locations, packing them securely for transit, and staging orders for shipment. Operating warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and RF scanners, will be part of your daily routine. Maintaining a safe and clean working environment is a top priority; adherence to all safety regulations and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory. The position involves significant physical activity, including frequent lifting and movement of goods, so good physical condition is essential. We offer thorough training on efficient workflows and safe lifting practices within our logistics operations. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Package products securely and efficiently, ensuring they are ready for shipping.
- Label and stage outgoing orders for carriers.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and use required PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist with stock replenishment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily fulfillment targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior warehouse or fulfillment experience is a plus.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety standards and proper use of PPE.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
