We are seeking dedicated Order Pickers to join our logistics team in Huntsville, Alabama. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently selecting items from our warehouse inventory to fulfill customer orders. Responsibilities:
- Receive and understand pick lists or digital orders via scanners.
- Accurately locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse shelves.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Stage picked orders for the packing and shipping departments.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Adhere to all **safety** guidelines and wear appropriate **PPE**.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of order fulfillment and **logistics**.
- Perform **lifting** of items up to 40 lbs as part of the picking process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and performing physical tasks.
- Commitment to following **safety** procedures and using **PPE**.
- Basic understanding of warehouse **logistics**.
- Capability for occasional **lifting**.
