We are seeking reliable and diligent Warehouse Associates to join our operations in Chicago, Illinois. This role is critical to maintaining the efficiency of our warehouse and logistics network. Your responsibilities will include receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders accurately, packing items securely for shipment, and maintaining inventory integrity. Safety is a cornerstone of our operations; adherence to all safety procedures and the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is non-negotiable. This position requires physical stamina, the ability to perform tasks involving frequent lifting, and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming materials and products.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including labeling and documentation.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stock counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Perform tasks involving frequent lifting, carrying, and moving of items, up to 50 lbs.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our logistics operations.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
- Ensure all inbound and outbound goods are handled with care.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous warehouse or logistics experience is highly desirable. Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Must be comfortable with frequent lifting and manual labor. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the correct use of PPE is essential. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
