Join our industrial team in Fort Worth, Texas, as a Material Handler! This vital role supports our manufacturing and logistics operations by ensuring the efficient movement and organization of materials within our facility. You will be responsible for operating various types of equipment, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining an organized inventory. Safety is our top priority; strict adherence to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is expected. This position requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to manage tasks involving frequent lifting and material handling. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and into storage areas.
- Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records.
- Transport materials between different departments or work areas.
- Ensure that all materials are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Perform tasks involving frequent lifting and moving of heavy objects, up to 55 lbs.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Support the overall logistics and production flow of the facility.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is required. Valid forklift certification is a plus. Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment. Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices and the correct use of PPE. Must be able to perform tasks requiring significant physical exertion, including frequent lifting, bending, and standing. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
