Join our thriving logistics operation as an Order Picker in Dallas, Texas! We are looking for diligent individuals to accurately select and prepare products for shipment. This role is critical to our fulfillment process, ensuring our customers receive their orders correctly and on time. As an Order Picker, you will navigate the warehouse using order sheets or electronic scanning devices to locate and retrieve items. Safety is paramount; you will be trained on proper lifting techniques and the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent injuries. We emphasize a secure work environment and expect all team members to adhere to our stringent safety standards. This position demands physical activity, concentration, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic warehouse setting. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick specified items from warehouse shelves based on order details.
- Use RF scanners or pick lists to identify and locate products.
- Verify product information (SKU, quantity) before picking.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Report any discrepancies or damaged items to a supervisor.
- Maintain an organized and clean work station.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
- Perform tasks requiring regular lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock replenishment.
- Understand and execute tasks within the broader logistics framework.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is preferred. Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods. Must be able to perform repetitive tasks and manage frequent lifting. Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail. Basic math skills. Willingness to work in various temperature conditions. Commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE.
