Your responsibilities will include operating material handling equipment, loading and unloading trucks, and assisting with inventory management. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Move materials to and from storage areas, production areas, or shipping/receiving docks.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Inspect equipment before and after use.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, including proper lifting techniques.
- Identify and report any damaged materials or equipment issues.
- Support shipping and receiving functions as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or operating warehouse equipment is a strong plus.
- Valid forklift certification is advantageous.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 70 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices.
- Familiarity with logistics and material flow.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Willingness to wear required PPE.
- Team player with good communication skills.
