Job Summary:
Our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania facility is looking for a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to manage and maintain accurate inventory records. This role is vital to our Logistics operations, ensuring that stock levels are precise, discrepancies are investigated and resolved, and that inventory is organized efficiently. The Specialist will be responsible for cycle counting, performing physical inventory audits, and utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements. You will collaborate with receiving, shipping, and operations teams to identify and correct inventory errors. A keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to Safety are essential. This position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and may involve occasional Lifting of inventory items. Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of inventory management principles and best practices within a warehouse environment. We are committed to operational excellence and are looking for someone who can contribute to maintaining the integrity of our stock. This is a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods through our supply chain, contributing directly to the success of our Logistics department.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS
  • Implement and improve inventory control procedures
  • Monitor stock levels and report on aging or slow-moving inventory
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and wear required PPE

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in inventory control or warehouse management
  • Proficiency in WMS software
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including Lifting
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Safety best practices
