Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and proficiently.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Transport materials and inventory between different warehouse areas.
- Organize and maintain inventory stock, ensuring proper placement and labeling.
- Conduct routine checks on equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
- Follow all safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE and safe lifting techniques.
- Assist with inventory counts and discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Valid forklift certification is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks, including frequent lifting of up to 75 lbs.
- Strong understanding of logistics and inventory control principles.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team.
