We are looking for dedicated Warehouse Associates to join our growing team in Columbus, Ohio. This role is fundamental to the smooth operation of our distribution center, involving the handling, storing, and moving of goods. You will play a key part in our logistics network, ensuring that inventory is managed efficiently and accurately. A commitment to safety and teamwork is essential for success in this position.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch according to specific instructions.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as forklifts and pallet jacks (if certified).
- Conduct regular inventory checks and contribute to stock accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Strictly adhere to all company safety regulations and procedures, including the mandatory use of appropriate PPE.
- Follow all designated Lifting guidelines and report any safety concerns.
- Load outgoing shipments efficiently and accurately.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve daily operational goals.
- Understand and execute various tasks within the logistics flow.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Warehouse Associate or in a similar role is preferred but not always required. Must be able to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting and standing for extended periods. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A strong commitment to safety and the correct use of PPE is mandatory. Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic logistics concepts is beneficial.
