Job Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Control Specialist to join our logistics hub in Seattle, Washington. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your duties will include tracking stock levels, conducting regular cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, and implementing procedures to minimize loss and improve efficiency. A strong understanding of inventory management systems and warehouse operations is essential. You will work closely with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure that all inventory movements are accurately recorded and that stock is readily available to meet demand. Safety is a top priority, and adherence to all protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. Responsibilities:
  • Conducting regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
  • Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records in the WMS (Warehouse Management System).
  • Implementing and enforcing inventory control procedures.
  • Monitoring stock levels and reporting potential shortages or overages.
  • Assisting with receiving and put-away processes to ensure accuracy.
  • Identifying and reporting damaged goods.
  • Working with logistics teams to optimize warehouse layout for efficient inventory flow.
  • Ensuring all lifting and handling of inventory is performed safely.
This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Experience with WMS software is highly preferred.
