We are seeking a motivated Order Picker to join our expanding logistics center in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory to fulfill customer orders. Your efficiency and precision are key to ensuring timely order processing and customer satisfaction. You will utilize scanning equipment and follow pick lists to navigate the warehouse and retrieve the correct products. We are dedicated to maintaining a safe and productive work environment, and adherence to all Safety regulations is mandatory. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work at a steady pace, and comfortable with physical tasks. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations according to order requirements.
- Use scanning devices to record picked items and update inventory levels.
- Verify picked items against order slips to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Assist in maintaining warehouse organization and cleanliness.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear and maintain required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory checks and stocktaking activities.
- This position involves significant walking and may require occasional Lifting of boxes up to 40 lbs.
- Contribute to overall Logistics efficiency by meeting picking quotas.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a warehouse environment.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic math and reading skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety standards and procedures.
- Familiarity with Logistics operations and inventory systems is beneficial.
