Join our energetic team as a Picker/Packer in Tampa, Florida! This role is a cornerstone of our logistics operations, responsible for accurately fulfilling customer orders. You will be tasked with locating specific items from warehouse shelves, ensuring they match order details, and then carefully packing them for shipment. Accuracy, speed, and attention to detail are paramount in this position. You will work in a fast-paced environment, contributing directly to customer satisfaction and inventory integrity. A commitment to safety, including the proper use of PPE, is essential for all team members. Your dedication ensures our logistics chain functions seamlessly.
Responsibilities:
- Pick items from warehouse locations using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Verify product accuracy and quantity against order requirements.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure product safety during transit.
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Stage packed orders for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a similar warehouse role is desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product labels.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform tasks involving frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 45 pounds.
- Understanding of basic warehouse logistics principles.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
