We are hiring a Distribution Center Associate for our Houston, Texas facility! This is a dynamic role central to our logistics operations, where you will perform a variety of tasks including order picking, packing, shipping, and receiving. We need enthusiastic individuals who are committed to accuracy, efficiency, and workplace safety. You will be responsible for ensuring that customer orders are accurately fulfilled and shipped in a timely manner. Your role involves working closely with other team members to maintain a productive and organized distribution center. Adherence to all safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE, is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from shelves to fulfill customer orders.
- Pack orders securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Receive and process incoming inventory, verifying quantities and quality.
- Stage outgoing shipments and assist with loading trucks.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through careful handling and proper stocking.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and scanners.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and use appropriate PPE.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is a plus.
- Ability to perform manual tasks including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Basic understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory control.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to safety and following instructions precisely.
