We are seeking enthusiastic Fulfillment Associates for our Washington, D.C. warehouse. This role is pivotal in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of customer orders. You will be responsible for the end-to-end fulfillment process, from accurately picking items off shelves to meticulously packing them for shipment. A dedication to quality and a fast-paced work ethic are crucial. This position is integral to our logistics operations, directly impacting customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Efficiently pick products from warehouse inventory according to order lists.
- Inspect goods for defects or damage before packing.
- Pack orders securely and appropriately to prevent damage during transit.
- Apply shipping labels accurately and ensure all necessary documentation is attached.
- Process returns and restock inventory in designated locations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of your workstation and the overall warehouse.
- Safely operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and scanning devices.
- Meet individual and team performance goals for accuracy and speed.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment center, or similar environment is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret product codes, labels, and order forms.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be capable of standing for long periods and performing physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Understanding of basic warehouse logistics and order fulfillment processes.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Dedication to maintaining a safe and secure work environment.
