Are you a certified Forklift Operator looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity in Salt Lake City, Utah? We are seeking experienced individuals to join our advanced logistics team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials throughout our warehouse, operating various types of forklifts and other powered industrial trucks. This role is critical to maintaining the flow of goods and ensuring the timely processing of inbound and outbound shipments. A strong understanding of warehouse operations, a commitment to safety, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds, are essential. Strict adherence to all safety regulations and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload pallets and other materials from trucks.
- Transport raw materials, finished goods, and other items to and from designated areas.
- Stack and store materials in designated locations, ensuring stability and safety.
- Inspect forklift equipment daily before operation and report any issues.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures for forklift operation.
- Wear and maintain required PPE, including safety shoes and vests.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Contribute to efficient logistics operations through timely material handling.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness.
- Understanding of logistics and material handling processes.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
