We are seeking a reliable and energetic Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics operations in Los Angeles, California. This role is fundamental to our daily warehouse functions, encompassing a variety of tasks including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. As a Warehouse Associate, you will contribute directly to the smooth and efficient flow of goods through our facility. We are looking for individuals who are safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and possess a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team. This position requires physical stamina, including the ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds, as well as bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods. Compliance with all safety regulations and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload inventory, verifying accuracy against shipping documents.
- Stock shelves and storage areas with incoming merchandise.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
- Participate in inventory control activities and cycle counts.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a warehouse associate or in a similar role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Proficiency in basic math and reading skills.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to PPE guidelines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
