Join our team in Boston, Massachusetts, as an Inventory Control Specialist. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure that our stock levels are precise, which is essential for efficient Logistics operations and customer satisfaction. You will conduct regular cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to maintain optimal inventory accuracy. This position requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills and a commitment to Safety. The ideal candidate will be proficient in inventory management systems and possess excellent organizational skills. Responsibilities include performing daily cycle counts, reconciling inventory discrepancies, investigating the root causes of inventory inaccuracies, managing stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO), ensuring proper storage and organization of all inventory items, assisting with receiving and put-away processes, generating inventory reports, and adhering to all company Safety protocols and procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role involves some Lifting and requires a good understanding of warehouse Logistics. A strong emphasis on Safety in all inventory processes is a core requirement. Your contributions are vital to the efficiency of our entire supply chain.
