Our Las Vegas, Nevada warehouse is looking for a diligent Receiving Clerk to join our logistics team. This role is fundamental to our operations, ensuring that all incoming goods are accurately received, inspected, and processed into our inventory system. The Receiving Clerk plays a key part in maintaining the integrity of our stock and supporting downstream operations. We are seeking an individual with a strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and a commitment to safety. Experience with inventory management systems and warehouse procedures is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments from vendors and carriers.
- Inspect goods for damage, discrepancies, and compliance with purchase orders.
- Accurately document received items into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Verify quantities and product codes against packing slips and purchase orders.
- Stage incoming goods for put-away by inventory or material handling teams.
- Communicate any receiving discrepancies or issues to supervisors and relevant departments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques and the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and full physical inventories as required.
- Ensure smooth workflow between receiving and other logistics functions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in receiving, inventory control, or a warehouse environment is beneficial.
- Familiarity with WMS or similar inventory tracking software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Understanding of logistics and warehouse operations.
- Commitment to adhering to safety guidelines and wearing provided PPE.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
