In this position, you will be responsible for accurately fulfilling customer orders by picking items from inventory and meticulously preparing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves using pick lists or scanning equipment.
- Inspect items for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Pack products securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product integrity.
- Apply shipping labels, return addresses, and any other required documentation to packages.
- Stage completed orders for carrier pickup, organizing them by route or service level.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Follow all established safety procedures and protocols, including the correct use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks such as cycle counts and stock replenishment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity and accuracy targets.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a picking and packing role or a similar warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
- Capability to perform repetitive lifting of up to 35 lbs.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in fulfilling orders.
- Ability to read and interpret pick sheets and product information.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety and logistics principles.
- Willingness to adhere to safety guidelines and wear required PPE, such as safety vests and gloves.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to quality and efficiency.
