We have an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Control Specialist in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role is crucial for optimizing our warehouse efficiency and ensuring the accuracy of our inventory, which is fundamental to our logistics operations. You will be responsible for performing regular cycle counts, investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies, conducting physical inventory audits, and maintaining the integrity of our inventory data within the warehouse management system (WMS). A sharp eye for detail, analytical skills, and a systematic approach are required. The ideal candidate will be proactive in identifying potential issues and implementing solutions to maintain high levels of inventory accuracy. We are committed to a safe work environment and provide all necessary PPE. This position requires periods of standing, walking, and occasional lifting. The ability to lift up to 40 pounds is expected, and training on safe lifting practices is provided. Our logistics success hinges on precise inventory control, and your contributions will be highly valued. Responsibilities include reporting on inventory levels, identifying slow-moving or obsolete stock, recommending improvements to storage and handling processes, and ensuring compliance with all inventory control policies and safety regulations.
