We are seeking an experienced and proactive Warehouse Coordinator to lead our operations in Columbus, Ohio! This leadership role is critical to overseeing the day-to-day functions of our warehouse, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety in all logistics processes. As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will manage inventory levels, supervise warehouse staff, optimize storage and workflow, coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations. You will be responsible for implementing best practices in warehouse management and continuously seeking ways to improve operational performance. A thorough understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics principles is essential. You will also ensure that all team members adhere to safety protocols, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Supervise, train, and schedule warehouse staff.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
- Coordinate with transportation providers and carriers.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Implement and maintain warehouse safety procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Handle any necessary lifting or physical tasks as required by the role.
- Utilize WMS and other logistics software effectively.
