In this role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items from inventory based on customer orders and meticulously preparing them for shipment. Your tasks will include locating products within the warehouse, ensuring the correct quantities are picked, and safely packing them to prevent damage during transit. A strong focus on accuracy and efficiency is essential for success. You will play a key role in our logistics process, directly impacting customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Verify picked items and quantities against customer orders.
- Safely and efficiently pack items for shipment, ensuring proper materials are used.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and scanners as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE .
- Perform tasks involving Lifting of boxes and products, following safe lifting practices.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the Logistics and fulfillment process.
- Check inventory levels and report any discrepancies.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order pick lists and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks involving frequent Lifting .
- Commitment to workplace Safety and the correct use of PPE .
- Understanding of basic warehouse and Logistics operations.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Basic computer skills for using scanners and order systems.
