Our growing e-commerce operation in Portland, Oregon, is looking for a meticulous Fulfillment Associate to manage the process of receiving, picking, packing, and shipping customer orders. As a key member of our fulfillment center, you will ensure that every order is processed accurately and efficiently, contributing to high levels of customer satisfaction. This role demands precision, speed, and a dedication to maintaining a safe and organized workspace. You will work closely with inventory management systems and contribute to the smooth flow of goods through our logistics network. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to specified requirements.
- Process incoming shipments, verify contents, and stock inventory appropriately.
- Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and handling.
- Operate warehouse machinery and tools safely and efficiently.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, adhering to strict Safety protocols.
- Wear all required PPE, including safety vests and gloves.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of fulfillment processes within the logistics chain.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Proven experience in a fulfillment, warehouse, or similar role is advantageous.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent Lifting of items up to 40 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order processing.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and shipping software is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to guidelines.
