Job Summary:
We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role is essential for the efficient movement and organization of goods within our facility, playing a critical part in our overall logistics process. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely loading and unloading trucks, transporting materials to and from storage areas, and assisting with inventory management. You must possess a valid forklift certification and a proven track record of safe operation. While operating machinery is primary, you will also be required to assist with manual tasks, including lifting items up to 50 pounds when necessary. Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate various types of forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
  • Load and unload trucks and trailers efficiently and accurately.
  • Transport goods to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
  • Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts to ensure they are in safe working order.
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock placement.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
  • Follow all logistics and operational procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Valid forklift operator certification.
  • Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when required.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety regulations and procedures.
  • Knowledge of logistics operations.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
