We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our growing team in San Jose, California. In this role, you will play a key part in managing our inventory and ensuring that our products reach our customers efficiently and in excellent condition. This position involves a range of activities, from receiving and stocking goods to picking, packing, and preparing shipments. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and a commitment to safety are essential. Responsibilities:
- Efficiently unload inbound shipments and verify contents against packing lists.
- Accurately pick items from designated locations based on order requirements.
- Package finished products for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and protection.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and effectively.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to maintain stock accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all company safety standards.
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties as needed.
- Use the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to manage inventory and process orders.
- Follow all guidelines regarding the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is a plus.
- Capability to perform tasks involving significant lifting, up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Knowledge of basic warehouse safety practices and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
