Join our dynamic logistics team as a Picker/Packer in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our order fulfillment process, responsible for accurately picking items from our inventory and meticulously packing them for shipment. Your attention to detail and efficiency are paramount to ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the integrity of our supply chain. You will utilize scanning technology and follow specific packing instructions to prepare orders. This position offers a hands-on experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with a strong emphasis on Safety and operational excellence within the logistics sector.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items based on order requirements using RF scanners.
- Verify product details, quantities, and condition before packing.
- Select appropriate packing materials to ensure product safety during transit.
- Pack orders efficiently and neatly, adhering to company standards.
- Prepare packages for shipment, including labeling and documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to all company Safety guidelines and procedures.
- Ensure correct and consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory checks and other warehouse tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in picking, packing, or a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 45 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team.
- Understanding of fundamental logistics processes.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and the proper use of PPE.
