Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures.
- Monitor stock rotation (e.g., FIFO/LIFO) and product expiration dates.
- Identify slow-moving or obsolete stock and recommend disposition.
- Assist with receiving and shipping processes to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure all staff follow safety protocols, including the use of appropriate PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control or warehouse management.
- Proficiency with WMS and other inventory management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with other departments.
- Knowledge of warehouse logistics and best practices.
- Understanding of safety regulations and the importance of PPE.
- Physical ability to access all areas of the warehouse, including moderate lifting.
This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and resolving inventory challenges. You will be a key point of contact for ensuring data integrity within our logistics system. The ideal candidate possesses strong quantitative skills and a commitment to continuous improvement. We are looking for an individual who can contribute to a safe and efficient work environment. Familiarity with Material Handling techniques is beneficial. Your role will be critical in maintaining the overall health of our supply chain.
