We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Denver, Colorado. This role is essential for the efficient movement of materials within our warehouse and distribution center. You will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts to load and unload trucks, move inventory, and support other warehouse functions. Safety, precision, and efficiency are top priorities in this position. The ideal candidate is a skilled operator with a strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and a commitment to maintaining a productive workflow. Key responsibilities include:
- Operating forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Loading and unloading trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Transporting inventory to and from storage areas, production lines, or shipping docks.
- Stacking and arranging materials in a safe and organized manner.
- Performing pre-operation inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in good working order.
- Reporting any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs immediately.
- Assisting with inventory management, including cycle counts and put-away processes.
- Adhering strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.
- Properly using all required PPE, including safety vests and steel-toed boots.
- Maintaining a clean and orderly work environment around operating areas.
A valid forklift operator certification is required for this position. Candidates must have a proven track record of safe operation and a thorough understanding of warehouse logistics.
