We are looking for a diligent Receiving Clerk to join our growing logistics team in Atlanta, Georgia. In this key role, you will be responsible for managing the inflow of goods into our facility, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and safety in every step. Your primary duties will involve unloading shipments, verifying contents, inspecting for quality, and meticulously documenting all received inventory. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses excellent attention to detail, and is dedicated to maintaining a secure and productive work environment. Responsibilities include:
- Safely unloading incoming freight from trucks and trailers.
- Cross-referencing received goods with shipping manifests, purchase orders, and other documentation.
- Conducting thorough inspections of products for any signs of damage, defects, or shortages.
- Accurately entering receiving data into our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Reporting any discrepancies or damages to supervisors and relevant parties promptly.
