Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order tickets or scanner data.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack picked items securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Transport picked orders to the packing or shipping station.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Adhere to all safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Participate in inventory counts and help maintain stock accuracy.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting of items up to 35 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets and location codes.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety protocols and the use of PPE.
- Good organizational skills and ability to work efficiently.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Understanding of basic logistics concepts.
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a warehouse environment, which may have variable temperatures. You will be on your feet for most of your shift, involving walking and bending, and will be required to perform moderate lifting. Safety is a priority, and compliance with all safety guidelines, including the use of provided PPE, is mandatory. Your role is integral to our logistics efficiency.
