We are seeking an experienced Distribution Center Associate to join our thriving logistics hub in Detroit, Michigan. This role is central to our ability to deliver products efficiently and on time. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including receiving and inspecting incoming goods, accurately stocking inventory, fulfilling customer orders through picking and packing, and preparing shipments for outbound logistics. Maintaining a safe and orderly work environment is a top priority, and strict adherence to all safety regulations, including the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. This position requires significant physical activity, including frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds and prolonged periods of standing, walking, and bending. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and a dedication to operational excellence are essential. We are looking for reliable, motivated individuals who can contribute to our team's productivity and uphold our high standards for quality and safety. Comprehensive training will be provided.Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments.
- Stock merchandise accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer orders with speed and precision.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through careful handling and reporting.
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Follow all safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational targets.
- Assist with loading outbound shipments.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse role.
- Ability to handle consistent lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with basic logistics and inventory management systems.
- Strong work ethic and proven reliability.
- Commitment to safety and willingness to utilize PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule if required.
