Join our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania logistics team as a Forklift Operator. We are looking for a certified and experienced individual to manage the movement of goods within our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include operating various types of forklifts, loading and unloading trailers, and organizing inventory within the facility. Safety is our top priority, and you will be expected to adhere to all company policies, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe lifting practices. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations and efficient material handling techniques. You will perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on forklifts to ensure they are in optimal working condition. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to transport materials, raw goods, and finished products.
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and other vehicles with accuracy and efficiency.
- Move and stack inventory in designated areas, optimizing warehouse space.
- Perform daily safety inspections and basic maintenance checks on forklifts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, free from hazards.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and the proper use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock verification.
- Accurately record inventory transactions within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Report any operational issues, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns immediately.
- Support the broader logistics and warehouse operations as needed.
