Are you a certified and experienced Forklift Operator? We have an exciting opportunity for you at our Baltimore, Maryland distribution center! This critical role ensures the safe and efficient movement of materials and inventory within our logistics facility. You will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts, including sit-down, stand-up, and reach trucks, to load and unload trailers, move goods to and from storage areas, and assist with order picking and stocking. The ideal candidate has a proven safety record, excellent equipment operating skills, and a strong understanding of warehouse operations. Key responsibilities include performing pre-operational checks on equipment, adhering to all safety regulations, and maintaining accurate inventory records. You will work closely with other warehouse associates to ensure a smooth workflow. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills. While primary duties involve forklift operation, you may also be asked to assist with other general warehouse tasks, including lifting and moving items. Your commitment to safety is paramount; therefore, strict compliance with all safety procedures and the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required.
