We are seeking an energetic Material Handler to join our logistics team in Jacksonville, Florida. This position is crucial for the efficient movement of materials throughout our warehouse. You will be responsible for receiving, identifying, staging, and moving inventory. Key tasks include unloading trucks, verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders, and transporting materials to designated storage areas. You will also assist with order picking and packing as needed, ensuring accuracy and speed. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control principles is beneficial. The ideal candidate is physically fit, capable of performing manual labor, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment. This role requires frequent lifting of items, often up to 60 lbs, and demands adherence to proper lifting techniques to prevent injury. Mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required at all times, including safety shoes and vests. You will play a key role in our logistics network, ensuring timely and accurate handling of all materials.
