Are you an experienced Forklift Operator seeking a challenging and rewarding role? Our Denver, Colorado location needs a skilled individual to operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently. As a Forklift Operator, you will be essential to our warehouse operations, responsible for moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting inventory. Your proficiency in handling materials ensures that our logistics chain remains unbroken and our customers receive their orders promptly. We are committed to providing a secure and accident-free workplace, so adherence to all Safety protocols and proper use of PPE is mandatory. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent spatial awareness, and the ability to follow instructions precisely. You will work closely with the warehouse team to ensure smooth operations, maintain inventory accuracy, and contribute to overall productivity. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Move, stack, and stage inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately record movement of inventory using scanning equipment or manual logs.
- Perform daily pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any issues immediately.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and guidelines, including wearing required PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
- Follow all directions from supervisors and team leads to ensure operational efficiency.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and Safety awareness.
- Contribute to the overall smooth functioning of the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Safety procedures for operating forklifts and handling materials.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management principles.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial reasoning skills.
- Ability to read and interpret instructions and safety warnings.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including occasional overtime.
