You will be responsible for handling merchandise, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and safe. A strong emphasis is placed on safety; you must adhere to all company guidelines, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position involves considerable physical exertion, such as frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing, walking, and bending for extended periods. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments.
- Stock shelves and designated storage areas accurately.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling and documentation.
- Conduct inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Comply with all safety regulations and use appropriate PPE.
- Assist in maintaining the overall efficiency of logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Basic understanding of inventory management.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and use of PPE.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
