Our Jacksonville, Florida facility is looking for a dedicated Shipping Clerk to manage and coordinate outbound shipments. This role is vital to our logistics operations, ensuring that all orders are accurately documented, processed, and dispatched in a timely manner. You will be responsible for preparing shipping labels, verifying package contents against orders, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining shipping records. This position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a keen eye for detail to prevent errors. A strong emphasis on safety is paramount; you will ensure all shipping areas are organized and free from hazards, and that all personnel utilize the necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The role may involve some physical tasks, including lifting packages up to 30 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process all outbound shipping documentation.
- Verify accuracy of orders and package contents.
- Generate shipping labels and arrange for carrier pickups.

- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Assist in organizing the shipping dock and ensuring a safe work environment.
- Perform light lifting of packages as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in shipping or a related logistics role.
- Proficiency with shipping software and common office applications.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and use of PPE.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
