Responsibilities:
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Monitor stock levels and identify potential issues like obsolescence or damage.
- Collaborate with receiving and shipping teams to reconcile discrepancies.
- Generate reports on inventory status, accuracy, and movement.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
- Operate necessary equipment, including pallet jacks, in a safe manner.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory control or a similar role.
- Proficiency with WMS software and inventory management techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with standard logistics operations.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and the correct use of PPE.
- Physical ability to perform tasks as required, including occasional lifting.
