Are you a Senior Mechanical Engineer looking to take the next step in your career with a consultancy known for delivering high-quality, design-led building services solutions? This forward-thinking engineering practice is expanding its Commercial team and is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join them in London.You'll be working on a diverse portfolio of complex projects across commercial offices, high-end residential, and premium hotel developments -with the opportunity to influence design, lead packages of work, and collaborate closely with multidisciplinary specialists.
Lead mechanical design delivery across commercial, residential and hotel schemes Develop design concepts, calculations, specifications and reports Coordinate with electrical, sustainability, BIM and architectural teams Attend client meetings and design workshops, representing the mechanical discipline Work across Stages 2-4, with exposure to full project lifecycle Strong background in mechanical building services design Experience within at least one of: commercial offices, large residential schemes, or hotels Proficiency in design software such as Hevacomp/IES; Revit experience beneficial Salary up to £70,000, depending on experience Hybrid working - 3 days in the office, 2 from home Opportunity to work on high-profile, design-driven projects Supportive team culture with clear progression opportunities Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
