is currently working with a supportive and well-resourced SEND school in the Wisbech area who are seeking a dedicated and creative
Design & Technology (DT) Teacher
to join their team.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students with
Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND),
delivering engaging, practical lessons in a nurturing and structured environment.
The Role:
Plan and deliver engaging DT lessons tailored to students with SEND
Adapt teaching strategies to meet a range of additional needs
Create a safe and inclusive workshop/classroom environment
Support students in developing practical skills, confidence, and independence
Work closely with support staff and SENCO to implement EHCP targets
The Ideal Candidate:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience working within a SEND setting (highly desirable) Confident differentiating lessons to meet individual needs
Strong behaviour management and a calm, patient approach
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to obtain one) Passionate about supporting students to achieve their potential
