You will utilize scanning devices to track inventory movements and ensure orders are complete and correct. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists or electronic pick tickets.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment, using appropriate materials.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for carrier pickup.
- Operate hand-held scanners and other warehouse equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all Safety protocols.
- Perform quality checks on picked and packed items.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Follow all company policies and procedures to ensure efficient logistics flow.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times in designated areas.
- Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 40 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic reading and math skills.
- Familiarity with scanning devices and warehouse management systems is beneficial.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Commitment to Safety and following instructions.
