RCS is seeking an
Applications Developer
to support the modernization of existing enterprise SharePoint architecture and to deploy SharePoint Subscription Edition. It also requires Systems Engineering support to further advance the enterprise capabilities leveraging experience with Windows, Linux, and PKI environments.
This position requires the candidate to meet specific Security Clearance obligations to work onsite in Springfield, VA.
What you will do:
Assess and validate SharePoint requirements. Assess and validate web requirements. Finesse SharePoint workflow architectures. Redesign the existing SharePoint application to add new features, optimize, scale or improve stability and performance. Provide O&M and content management support for SharePoint sites. Create new SharePoint sites. Analyze and study complex system requirements. Apply business process improvement practices to re-engineer methodologies and principles and business process modernization projects. Assist in establishing standards for information systems procedures. Collaborate with team members, customers, service providers and developers to identify requirements. Design, develop, and maintain various network environments, including the cloud environment. Develop block diagrams and logic flow charts. Translate detailed design into computer software. Expand or modify systems to serve new purposes or improve workflow - using containers, cloud development, enterprise PKI solutions, Linux, or Windows. Prepare required documentation, to include both program-level and user-level documentation. Review program problems including providing advanced troubleshooting techniques to quickly identify and assess issues. Lead deployment of system engineering techniques, methodologies and processing to architect, design, test and secure environments adhering to DISA (Defense Information Systems Agency), SRG and STIG (Security Technical Implementation Guides) compliance. Conduct Research and Development for emerging technologies for evaluation. Required Qualifications/Education:
Clearance:
Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph U.S. Citizenship required (NO EXCEPTIONS). Managing a SharePoint environment. SharePoint Site Collection Administrator (SCA). Working with users to identify, validate, and prioritize SharePoint site issues and requirements. Assigning, editing and maintaining user roles and permissions. Making SharePoint configuration changes required to resolve issues to comply with industry standards. Making SharePoint configuration changes required to resolve issues, or to comply with requirements or IT best practices. Creating and enhancing workflow architectures in SharePoint. Migrating, configuring, and developing SharePoint sites with improved functionality. Improving performance, stability, and optimization of SharePoint sites. Certification(s); Security+ certification or equivalent Engineering multiple operating systems such as Windows, Linux, or similar. Leveraging automation tools and deploying scripts - Infrastructure as Code. Providing detailed documentation and diagrams to support engineering efforts. Providing architecture, design, test and secure environments adhering to DISA (Defense Information Systems Agency), SRG (Security Reference Guides) and STIG (Security Technical Implementation Guides) compliance in a disconnected environment. Utilizing DevOps methodologies and tools. Nice to Have Qualifications:
Experience supporting backend SharePoint Architecture Certification as a SharePoint Administrator SharePoint Designer Updating user documents and libraries. Creating user manuals. SharePoint Site Collection Administrator (SCA) within the organization. Containers. Risk management framework or ICD503. Project management.
