Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated and versatile individuals to join our team as Distribution Center Associates in Detroit, Michigan. This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our warehouse, encompassing a variety of tasks essential to the movement and management of goods. As a Distribution Center Associate, you will be involved in receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping processes. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory for damage and accuracy.
  • Stock shelves and maintain an organized warehouse layout.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to customer specifications.
  • Operate material handling equipment as required (training provided).
  • Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory management.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the distribution center.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and wear required PPE at all times.
  • Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
  • Perform duties involving significant lifting and physical exertion.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Willingness to perform a variety of tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, and reach.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 70 pounds, with proper technique.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to safety procedures.
  • Basic understanding of logistics and inventory control principles.
