Join our team in Boise, Idaho, as a Material Handler! We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to support our warehouse operations. This role is essential for the smooth functioning of our logistics department, involving the physical handling and movement of goods throughout the facility. Your primary responsibilities will include loading and unloading materials, organizing inventory, and ensuring that items are properly stored and accessible. The ideal candidate is physically fit, reliable, and has a good work ethic. While prior experience is beneficial, we welcome candidates eager to learn and grow within the logistics industry. Safety is paramount; all personnel must wear designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times and follow all safety guidelines. This role involves frequent lifting and manual dexterity. Responsibilities include operating manual pallet jacks, moving boxes and pallets, stocking shelves, and keeping the warehouse clean and organized. You will work closely with a team to meet daily operational demands and contribute to efficient order fulfillment. This is a hands-on position offering valuable experience in warehouse logistics.
- Load and unload trucks and containers with materials.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas using manual pallet jacks or other equipment.
- Organize and arrange inventory in designated storage areas.
- Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory count.
- Keep the warehouse clean, orderly, and free from hazards.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE at all times.
- Assist with basic warehouse tasks as directed by supervisors.
- Contribute to a safe and productive work environment.
- Perform lifting of materials up to 50 pounds regularly.
This role is a foundational part of our logistics operations, requiring dedication to efficient material movement and a commitment to safety and teamwork.
