We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate for our Cincinnati, Ohio location. This role is key to managing the flow of goods into and out of our facility, ensuring efficient and accurate processing of all shipments. You will be responsible for handling incoming deliveries, verifying contents, stocking inventory, preparing outgoing shipments, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate is organized, possesses strong communication skills, and has a good understanding of warehouse logistics. Experience in shipping and receiving is preferred. Safety is our top priority, and you will be required to strictly follow all safety protocols and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. This position involves physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities include inspecting incoming goods for damage, accurately documenting received items, organizing and storing inventory, preparing shipments by packing and labeling correctly, and coordinating with carriers for pickups and deliveries. You will also assist with inventory counts and maintain a clean and orderly workspace. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a vital part of our supply chain.
- Receive and unload incoming shipments from various carriers.
- Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips for accuracy and damage.
- Stock received goods in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling orders.
- Accurately document all outgoing shipments and manage shipping manifests.
- Coordinate with carriers for shipment pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock checks.
- Ensure the shipping and receiving areas are clean, organized, and safe.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
This role is essential for maintaining efficient logistics and ensuring that our supply chain operates smoothly. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety are vital.
