We are looking for an organized and proactive Warehouse Coordinator to join our team in Austin, Texas. This role is crucial for overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficiency in receiving, storage, inventory management, and shipping processes. You will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods, managing inventory levels, and supervising warehouse staff to meet operational targets. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse logistics. Experience in a similar supervisory or coordination role is highly desirable. Safety is paramount in our operations, and you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all safety procedures and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all team members. This position requires the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include developing work schedules, monitoring inventory accuracy, optimizing warehouse layout, coordinating with transportation providers, and resolving operational issues. You will also play a key role in training new staff and promoting a culture of safety and productivity. The ability to motivate a team and drive efficiency is essential.
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff.
- Ensure efficient utilization of warehouse space and resources.
- Develop and implement work schedules for the warehouse team.
- Coordinate with shipping and receiving departments to ensure timely movement of goods.
