We are seeking a motivated and reliable Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Jacksonville, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of manual tasks related to the movement and organization of materials within our warehouse. Your primary focus will be ensuring the efficient flow of goods, contributing to overall warehouse productivity and order fulfillment accuracy. This position requires a strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety protocols. You will work closely with other warehouse staff and supervisors to meet daily operational goals. The ideal candidate will have experience with general warehouse duties and a good understanding of material handling techniques. Responsibilities will include loading and unloading trucks, organizing inventory, operating manual pallet jacks, and maintaining a clean and orderly workspace. Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory at all times. This role involves significant physical activity, including frequent lifting of items up to 50 pounds. You will be an integral part of our supply chain operations, ensuring that products are handled with care from arrival to departure. - Unload and load materials onto trucks and into storage areas.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas using appropriate equipment.
- Stock and retrieve materials from shelves, racks, and other storage locations.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other material handling equipment.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through proper tracking and documentation.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
