This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring materials are moved, stored, and prepared for outgoing shipments accurately and safely. Responsibilities include receiving goods, stocking inventory, picking orders, and maintaining a clean and orderly workspace. A strong commitment to workplace safety, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is essential. The position requires the ability to handle frequent and significant lifting. You will work collaboratively with team members to meet operational goals and contribute to the overall efficiency of the warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Unload, receive, and inspect incoming materials and shipments.
- Organize and stock materials in appropriate warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, and prepare materials for outgoing shipments.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate inventory records.
- Perform regular safety checks and ensure adherence to safety procedures.
- Utilize PPE as required.
- Keep the warehouse environment clean, safe, and hazard-free.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as directed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior experience in warehousing or material handling is a plus.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other powered industrial trucks.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 60 lbs) consistently.
- Understanding and application of safety regulations and the use of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
