We are seeking a diligent Picker/Packer to join our warehouse team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items for customer orders and efficiently packing them for shipment. Your attention to detail and speed will directly impact our customer satisfaction and operational efficiency within the logistics chain. This position requires individuals who are organized, motivated, and committed to maintaining a safe work environment. You will work closely with other team members to ensure orders are processed correctly and on time. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from inventory based on order requirements using scanning devices or pick sheets.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify order accuracy before packing and shipping.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Assist with receiving and stocking duties as needed.
- Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Participate in inventory control processes like cycle counting.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse/logistics role is beneficial.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capacity for lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety guidelines, including PPE usage.
